Author Salman Rushdie on his attack, writing ‘Knife’ and fear

It has been almost two years since the celebrated author was attacked while delivering a lecture. He says now he thought an attack might happen over the years; it would have been odd if he hadn’t, particularly in the “bad old days” when the threat level was high.
